Bell County Animal Clinic is pleased to offer the Tri-State area the latest in veterinary surgical equipment and techniques. Our clinic is outfitted with a diagnostic laboratory, blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen monitors and other surgical equipment.
While any veterinary surgery carries a degree of risk, we recommend that all pets have blood screening prior to any surgical procedures. This is to ensure that your pet is healthy enough for surgery. Our advanced laboratory can determine the blood chemistry levels to determine the overall health of your furry family member’s liver and kidneys and pancreas. Complete blood counts are also recommended to determine red and white blood cell and platelet counts.
The monitoring equipment at Bell County Animal Clinic is state-of-the-art. During your pet’s procedure, our experienced doctors and staff continually monitor oxygen levels, blood pressure and heart rate, making sure your pet is safe throughout the surgical event.
Pets hurt and feel pain in the same way people do. Pain preventative medication is required prior to any surgical event at Bell County Animal Clinic. Our compassionate veterinarians want to keep all of their furry patients as comfortable as possible during any operation.
More complicated procedures such as orthopedic surgery are referred out to our preferred specialists. Call us at 606-248-4243 to schedule a surgical consultation for your pet.
